The Boyer House is a large, beautifully designed
arts and crafts home built by a prominent Italian-American attorney
and his family around 1915 with the finest materials and fixtures
available. On either side of the grand entryway, pocket doors
lead to a beautifully furnished living room, an intimate sitting
room, and a cozy library containing several thousand books.
From the living room, pocket doors lead to a dining room that
seats up to twenty people, and is graced by a fireplace forged
at the time of construction by the famed Walla Walla Foundry.
Original lead crystal windows, rich tiger oak paneling, and
wood coffered ceilings are found throughout.

The only original pieces
ever removed from the house were ten signed Tiffany lamps sold
in the 1980s to a traveling antiques dealer for $4,000 –
later discovered by the house’s owner to be worth closer
to $70,000. The large family kitchen remains unchanged and breakfast
can still be had on the summer breakfast porch. The front of
the house is graced by a 95 foot-long sitting porch. Just to
the left of the house is a comfortable patio area with a 40
foot heated swimming pool, in-ground hot tub, and gas barbecue.
The house has five bedrooms and two baths on the second floor.
The main floor has one bedroom with an attached summer sleeping
porch and stunning original bath.
