Areus provides an intimate refuge for guests seeking soulful relaxation as well as an ideal location for your wedding or special gathering. Located amidst rolling wheat fields in the heart of Washington wine country, Areus is a short drive to historic Walla Walla’s land-marked Main Street, its many wine tasting rooms and superb restaurants, and the Whitman College campus.

Areus is located in a mid-century ranch appointed in a modern style on hundreds of acres of cultivated rolling wheatfields and a lush vineyard. A prominent Walla Walla farmer built the house in 1948. She and her family called it home for the next 55 years. Two of her children have carried on the farming tradition and continue to work land in the area growing wheat and wine grapes. Areus’s vast open setting provides a sense of calm and comfort. From the in-ground pool, guests may enjoy the view of the Blue Mountains to the east and spectacular sunsets to the west.
